DALLAS — Four Dallas firefighters were injured Wednesday when a roof collapsed at a vacant house fire.

Dallas Fire-Rescue arrived at the one-alarm fire to find flames shooting through the roof at the rear of the structure, according to WFAA.

Some firefighters entered the building, under the impression that someone may have been inside, fire officials said.

A firefighter who was fighting the fire from the roof suffered burns to his face and hands and smoke inhalation after the collapse sent him falling into the house.
