NEW YORK — Four firefighters and two children were injured in an early morning blaze in the Bronx.
The flames broke out around 3 a.m. Wednesday in a home on Commonwealth Avenue in Parkchester just north of the Cross Bronx Expressway.
The blaze spread through three floor of two homes and escalated to a fifth alarm before being brought mostly under control by about 6 a.m. More than 200 firefighters responded.
