NEW YORK — A two-alarm fire broke out at the Roseland Ballroom in Midtown Manhattan late Tuesday evening, injuring six firefighters.
Fire officials say the blaze was reported at about 10:30 p.m. and originated on the mezzanine level of the Theatre District venue, located at 239 West 52nd Street.
It took firefighters about an hour to get the flames under control. Six firefighters were injured while battling the blaze but none of their injuries are serious.
No event was being held at the time of the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
