6 N.J. firefighters injured battling house fire

Officials said the firefighters were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries

TOMS RIVER, N.J. — One person died and six firefighters were injured following a house fire Monday afternoon.

CBS Philly reported that several fire departments and paramedics were at the scene of the fire.

Fire officials said six firefighters were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to the report.

There is no word on the identity of the civilian at this time.

The fire is under investigation.
