DALLAS — Firefighters rescued a family from a burning home in Far East Dallas late Tuesday.

The fire was reported shortly after 10:30 p.m. in the 10100 block of Casa View Driver after a neighbor called 911.

Two people were in the front yard when firefighters arrived, but they soon learned a man and a woman were still inside the burning home. They quickly rescued them, and both were taken to a hospital.

A third person was also hospitalized, and two others were treated for minor injuries at the scene.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
