RAHWAY, N.J. — A four-alarm fire that tore through a condominium complex under construction Tuesday morning in New Jersey is under control.
The massive fire started around 1:30 a.m. at the construction site in Rahway, about 25 miles west of New York City.
Route 27, which feeds into several main arteries connecting New Jersey to New York City, was closed for hours while an estimated 100 firefighters from 10 towns fought the blaze.
Rahway Fire Battalion Chief David Taylor says there were no injuries.
