NORTH WHITEHALL TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Officials in Lehigh County are investigating a fire that destroyed a former hotel.
Firefighters say the blaze at the old Rockdale Hotel started around 7 p.m. Tuesday. Officials say everyone in the converted three-story North Whitehall home at the time of the fire made it out safely.
Fifteen crews were called to the scene to contain the fire. Officials say the remote location of the house made it more difficult to access.
No injuries were reported. Fire officials say the severely damaged house is uninhabitable.
