BOISE, Idaho — A firefighter was injured while battling a fire at a linen company Thursday morning.
KTVB reported that the firefighter was transported to a hospital after suffering a knee injury while exiting the building.
“As he came out of the building, a lot of smoke was in the area of the loading dock, stepped right off onto his knee and suffered a knee injury,” Battalion Chief John Peugh said.
The fire broke out at the ALSCO building in Boise and authorities believe an industrial dryer caught several small clothes bins on fire, according to the report.
Firefighters continue to investigate the exact cause of the fire.
