HOUSTON — Firefighters rescued a child trapped in a burning home in southwest Houston Monday afternoon.
Smoke and flames were pouring from the house in the 5200 block of Kelling when fire crews arrived just before 2 p.m.
They pulled a 10-year-old boy from the house and performed CPR at the scene. The victim was rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital by ambulance. At last check, he was in critical condition.
