INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — A firefighter was hurt battling a fire at a home near the Fountain Square neighborhood early Friday.
The fire sparked about 3 a.m. in the 1100 block of Spann Avenue, dispatchers said.
The firefighter suffered a slight ankle injury while working to douse the flames.
Investigators said the house had had recent electrical repairs which may have sparked the fire but the exact cause remained under investigation.
