INDIANAPOLIS — Indianapolis firefighters investigated a possible manhole explosion downtown on Saturday.
At about 9:30 p.m., Indianapolis Fire Department crews were called to the intersection of Maryland and Pennsylvania avenues on reports of a car fire.
When firefighters arrived, they found a car on fire, and a manhole cover that had exploded underneath the car, officials said.
