BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two people are dead and four are recovering from smoke inhalation after the Benton Township home they were in caught fire and exploded late Saturday night.
Benton Township police and firefighters who were dispatched to 1080 N. Euclid at about 11:40 p.m. Saturday found a two-story house on fire, with flames coming from multiple windows, according to a news release from the Benton Charter Township Police Department.
The four injured people were sitting outside and told police there were two others inside who did not escape, the news release said.
