Texas firefighter saves ashes of fire victim’s mother
The firefighter managed to retrieve the urn of ashes before the house was consumed by flames

SAN ANTONIO — A Texas firefighter made an important, although not lifesaving, rescue while battling a blaze Friday morning.
While evacuating a family from their burning home, a firefighter managed to retrieve an urn containing the ashes of a mother of one of the victims, reported FOX San Antonio.
Firefighters believe the fire started in a barbecue pit; the house is a total loss.
