SULTAN, Wash. — Responders had to force two residents to back off after they tried to tackle flames themselves at a house fire in Washington last Monday.
A series of videos posted online first shows a law enforcement officer pushing a man who identified himself as an assault victim away from the fire after he reportedly grabbed a hose to put water on the fire.
A second video shows firefighters pushing back another man who picked up a garden hose to attack flames, then reacted angrily as he was told to stop.
