WINCHESTER, Wis. — A 24-year-old firefighter was injured Wednesday while battling a shed fire.
Post Crescent reported that firefighters were called to the farm for a fire in a barn-shaped shed. Four other fire departments responded to the scene, as well as an ambulance company and sheriff’s department.
Clayton-Winchester Fire Chief Scott Rieckmann said the firefighter was in good condition when he was airlifted from the scene, according to the report.
Rieckmann said he was unsure about the nature of the firefighter’s injuries.
