SHERIDAN, N.Y. — A former N.Y. fire chief and commissioner died in his firehouse Wednesday.
Firefighter Ronald Keddie of the Sheridan Fire District suffered an apparent medical emergency while getting ready to respond to a call, according to WIVB.
Firefighter Keddie was past chief and commissioner in Sheridan as well as a Vietnam veteran.
