HANAHAN, S.C. — A city of Hanahan firefighter was given a $60,000 bond after being charged with having sex with a now 15-year-old girl.
According to court documents, 30-year-old Justin Shayne Rider of Ladson began having sex with the victim at a home in Goose Creek when she was 14-years-old. The victim says they had sex three times between January and February of this year.
On Sunday, the victim filed the complaint with the Berkeley County Sheriffs Office. Rider was arrested Wednesday afternoon.
