WASHINGTON — Two off-duty D.C. firefighters were assaulted and one was shot during a robbery attempt Saturday.
The incident happened around 3 p.m. when the two firefighters were approached during an attempted robbery, CBS DC reports.
One of the firefighters was shot and taken to the hospital with reportedly non-life threatening injuries, according to the report.
