INDIANAPOLIS — An Indianapolis ambulance transporting a patient was part of a four-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon.
In a bystander photo taken of the incident, the ambulance appears to have collided head-on with a pickup truck.

The patient, a shooting victim, was being transported to the Eskenazi Hospital when the ambulance crashed.
FOX News 59 reports that the patient was transferred to another ambulance and taken to the hospital.
The two members of the Indianapolis Fire Department involved in the accident were transported to a hospital for further evaluation.
