WAKE FOREST, N.C. — A Wake Forest man is scheduled to be in court today on charges of first-degree burglary and simple assault for breaking into Fire Station 3 in Wake Forest early Saturday morning.
Officials say 19-year-old Brian Craig Keller used a sledgehammer to break through a glass door at the fire station while fire personnel were sleeping. Keller was met in the hallway by a firefighter.
When Keller was confronted, he was holding a sledgehammer in one hand, a bible in the other and was yelling that he was looking for a specific person at the station, according to officials.
