BOSTON — A Boston firefighter will not face charges over a telephone rant after which a captain accused him of saying he would make the actions of “Christopher Dorner” — the rogue Los Angeles killer ex-cop — look like “child’s play.”
A magistrate in West Roxbury District Court determined yesterday there wasn’t probable cause to bring charges against Kenny Veiga, 53, a 24-year department veteran, for making alleged threats. A relieved Veiga said he’s not sure what the future holds for him, but he’s grateful he was not charged.
“I’m doing better today than I was yesterday,” Veiga said after the hearing. “Obviously, these are horrible allegations.”
