VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Firefighters rescued a worker who was left dangling from his safety rope more than 100 feet in the air along a water tower Monday.
CBS DC reported that the man’s ladder slipped from beneath him while he was working on the tower. He was left clinging for nearly 45 minutes, according to the report.
The worker was transferred to the rescuing firefighter’s rope. They were both lowered down to the ladder truck.
The worker was not injured.
