Aviat Networks introduces WTM 3300 radio

WTM 3300 supports high throughput at one-fifth the weight and one-half the power requirements of traditional all-outdoor Ethernet microwave radios

Aviat Networks released the Aviat WTM 3300 radio. The Aviat WTM 3300 70-80GHz radio offers up to 1Gbps capacity to meet the requirements of urban application, the company said.

Designed for small cell and macrocell wireless backhaul markets, as well as enterprise broadband connectivity, WTM 3300 is small, lightweight and has a built-in antenna.

The WTM 3300 supports high throughput at one-fifth the weight and one-half the power requirements of traditional all-outdoor Ethernet microwave radios, the company said. It is suited for installation on light poles, sides of buildings and other locations that adhere to strict city regulations and zoning ordinances.

It is 5.3 pounds and has zero-footprint with an all-outdoor weatherproof design. Its fast connect ports generate rapid deployment times and low visual impact.
