WATERLOO, Neb. — Two volunteer firefighters were hospitalized after their tanker truck rolled over.
Waterloo Fire Chief Travis Harlow told Omaha World-Herald that the incident happened when the crew was responding to a call regarding a landfill fire. Chief Harlow said the truck most likely flipped because the water inside was shifting while the truck turned a corner.
Both firefighters, who were wearing their seat belts, were transported to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.
