KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department made good on a bet Monday morning with the fire department.
The deal was whichever department had the least increased charitable giving to the City of Knoxville Employee Consolidated Charity Campaign had to wash the other department’s vehicles.
Knoxville Police Department lost, so they showed up in style in a Rural/Metro truck to wash a fire engine at the Summit Hill fire station. There was plenty of friendly bantering to go around.
