RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. — A man was arrested after breaking into vehicles at a firehouse.
WJTV reported that four firefighters’ personal vehicles and a fire truck were burglarized. Sunglasses, medication, a gas can and a stainless steel coffee mug were among items stolen.
Allen Burleigh, 23, who was arrested last year for two burglaries at a library located in front of the fire station, was questioned by police. Deputies found some of the stolen items in Burleigh’s car.
Burleigh faces charges of petit larceny, commercial burglary and vehicle burglary.
