CLEVELAND, Tenn. — Police are investigating a crash after a woman was hit by a fire department vehicle Tuesday.
News Channel 9 reported that the driver of an F-350 fire department vehicle was turning left when it hit pedestrian Melinda Heald.
Heald was flown by a Life Force helicopter to a hospital in an unknown condition.
No charges have been filed against driver Peter Vandusen. The truck was not responding to an emergency at the time of the crash.
Police are currently investigating. We will update you when more information becomes available.
