DICKINSON, N.D. — There were no tornadoes or emergencies Sunday night in downtown Dickinson, Stark County Emergency Manager Bill Fahlsing said.
A malfunctioning siren at the city's downtown fire department led to three minutes of sirens loudly blaring throughout south Dickinson at about 10:13 p.m.
Fahlsing said once the emergency siren gets turned on, it cannot be turned off for three minutes.
He stressed that "there's no emergency. There was a malfunction in the siren."
