Keep webbing in hidden places

Tips

By Mark van der Feyst

Webbing is a very versatile tool that can be used in many applications. Rolling a section of webbing in a donut roll and stuffing it into a medical glove is a good way to store it in a turnout gear pant pocket. But, there are other good spots to store webbing besides the pockets.

The space between the inner liner and the outer shell offers a good storing spot. Stuffing webbing into that cavity with a small loop sticking out by the wrist provides quick access and deployment. Some manufacturers have kneepads attached with Velcro and a space between the pad and the outer shell. Webbing can be stuffed in there and a small loop left hanging over the edge.
