Firefighters rescue riders stuck on Transformers roller coaster

ORLANDO, Fla. — Guests were rescued on Tuesday from the Transformers: The Ride-3D at Universal Studios after the ride apparently got stuck, according to Orlando fire officials.

Orlando fire officials confirmed to Local 6 they were performing a technical rescue at Universal and safely assisted 12 people out of the vehicle on the Transformers ride. No injuries were reported and fire officials said no other details were available.

One guest tells Local 6 she was stuck on the ride for an hour. She said they were taken off of the ride by fire officials strapping in the passengers with safety harnesses and pulling them up by ropes.
