ADELANTO, Calif. — A deputy recovered pants and other gear stolen from a county fire truck and made two unrelated arrests in the process, according to a Wednesday news release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Victor Valley Station.
San Bernardino County firefighters noticed gear missing from their truck after responding to a medical aid call Tuesday night, the release stated.
They called the Victor Valley Station to report that someone had stolen a Fire Department radio, a pair of Fire Department issued pants and boots out of their truck while they treated a child with eye injuries, according to Victor Valley Station spokeswoman Staci Johnson.
