DELAWARE COUNTY, Pa. — A fire company ambulance was recovered over the weekend after being stolen Friday.

Officials said the Woodlyn Volunteer Fire Company ambulance was found in a business park Saturday; no equipment was stolen and there was no damage.

Woodlyn Fire Chief Michael Poltrock said he believes the vehicle was taken for a joy ride.

Although the vehicle was found, police are searching for a man who stole the ambulance, which was parked in front of the fire department, reported The Inquirer.

The fire company described the man as African-American, average height, heavy set and was last seen wearing a reflective jacket, light-colored pants, a dark hat and a backpack.
