S.C. engineer hurt in fatal apparatus collision
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the incident

DARLINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — An SUV hit a fire truck around 12: 45 a.m. Monday, killing the SUV driver, WMBF reported.
The firefighter driving the fire truck was injured and transported to a hospital.
Names of the people involved in the crash have not been released, and the name of the fire department whose truck was involved also has not been released.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the collision.
