Veteran Ala. FF dies of brain cancer

IRONDALE, Ala. — Irondale Firefighter Brant “Bo” Bice died of brain cancer Saturday, according to the Irondale Fire Department.

Bice was diganosed more than two years ago.

“Brant dedicated his life to the fire service and did so for over 20 years. We ask that you keep Brant’s family and the Irondale Fire Department in your thoughts and prayers,” a fire department Facebook post states.

The local police department expressed condolences.

“Brant served the community of Irondale with the Irondale Fire Department for many years. Brant will be greatly missed,” a Facebook post from the department reads.
