Wis. battalion chief reportedly dies from job-related cancer

MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Fire Department Battalion Chief Sean Slowey died Saturday from job-related brain cancer, according to Facebook posts from the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin and the Milwaukee Fire Department.
He served for 40 years.
“Slowey was a father and friend to all, and our hearts are with his family,” the department said.
