GOOCHLAND COUNTY, Va. — A volunteer firefighter, who also happens to be a Dominion Virginia lineman, made what some believe was a life-saving phone call on October 15.

Jeff Moore was riding in a Goochland County fire truck when he and the driver got a call about an accident on Broad Street. A vehicle had crashed into an electric pole, with the electricity still flowing to the area.

Dale Wilkerson, who lives across the street from the crash site, said “we didn’t know if we touched the truck whether it would electrify anybody.”
