WENTZVILLE, Mo. — Firefighters bought a boy a new bike after cutting his old one to free his leg Monday night.
KTVI reported that firefighters were called to a scene where a child’s leg was trapped in a bike. The only way firefighters could free the boy was the cut the bike’s frame, according to the report.
The boy was upset over losing his bike. A captain and two firefighters saved the day by going to a nearby store and buying a new bike.
The boy was very happy when the firefighters showed up with the new bike, according to the report.
