SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. — A Boiling Springs man was charged Saturday with kidnapping and two counts of assault and battery third degree.

Joshua Wayne Abbott, 30, of 920 Wesley Court allegedly kidnapped a woman in the Goodwill parking lot at the intersection of Double Bridge Road and Boiling Springs Road, according to a report from the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office.
