PHOENIX — Phoenix firefighters escorted the daughter of fallen Firefighter Brian Beck, Jr., to her first day of kindergarten.
Beck died from occupational cancer in May, AZ Family reported. To show their support for the Beck family, members of the Phoenix Fire Department gathered to see Emery Beck off to her first day of kindergarten.
The United Phoenix Firefighters posted a picture on Facebook showing firefighters surrounding Emery as she headed to class and wrote, “We love you, Beck family, and will never forget the sacrifice you have made for the citizens of Phoenix.”
