BALTIMORE — A fire broke out Wednesday at a Highlandtown home, spreading to adjacent residences, according to the Baltimore Fire Department.

Units responded to the scene on the 300 block of South Robinson Street — about a block away from Patterson Park — shortly after 5 p.m. and found heavy fire coming from the rear of a brick residence, fire department spokesperson Kevin Cartwright said.

The blaze continued for over an hour and ultimately spread to five other occupied residences, though nobody was injured, Cartwright said.

Investigators are on the scene trying to determine the cause of the fire and estimate the damage.
