Parma-Sandstone responded to a house fire on the 4000 block of Gardner Rd around 2:30 AM today. Upon arrival crews observed heavy flames coming from the roof. Mutual aid recieved by Rives-Tompkins, Spring Arbor, Concord and Springport fire departments. Fire was under control by 4:30 AM. First due engine laid 700 feet of 4-inch from the road for water supply. Building was a total loss, with no injuries.
