Va. firefighter hospitalized after battling mobile home fire
A member of the Abingdon Fire Department was transported to the hospital for heat exhaustion

ABINGDON, Va. — A firefighter was taken to the hospital for medical treatment after battling a blaze at a mobile home.
The Abingdon Fire Department was called to a mobile home fire on Saturday night, where they contained the fire and prevented further spread to other lots, News 5 WCYB reported.

One AFD member was taken to the hospital for heat exhaustion. The status of the firefighter has not been released.
