PADUA, Italy — An Italian woman turned to firefighters for help after losing the key to her chastity belt.
Independent.co.uk reported that the woman went to a fire station and told firefighters she lost the key to a lock and couldn’t open it. Firefighters initially thought she lost the key to a door or gate and asked for her address.
The woman, however, lifted up her sweater to reveal an iron chastity belt around her waist, complete with an iron padlock.
Firefighters quickly broke the lock to free her, but were concerned she was a victim of violence. She reportedly explained she wore the belt voluntarily to prevent herself entering into sexual relationships, according to the report.
