LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Bullitt County Firefighter Joey Wright was laid to rest on Wednesday.
Local firefighters gathered as the funeral procession traveled from Louisville to a Bullitt County funeral home, according to WLKY.
Wright died last week from a heart attack after participating in training exercises.
Wright joined the Nichols Fire Department in 2015. He previously served at the Zoneton Fire Department.
He is survived by his wife and his three children.
