FAIRBORN, Ohio — Crewmembers made a mayday call Monday night after kitchen cabinetry fell on and injured a Fairborn firefighter during a house fire, the Dayton Daily News reported.
Crews from other fire departments assisted.
Fairborn firefighters inside the house pulled the injured firefighter to safety.
The injured firefighter was alert when he was transported to a local hospital, said Adam Howard, battalion chief of the Fairborn Fire Department.
