ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. — Atlantic City first responders and emergency management officials participated in using drone technology to respond to swimmers in distress and conduct wildlife patrol.

Units under mission command of the Atlantic City Fire Department, including the ACFD Drone Unit, Beach Patrol, and Surf Rescue teams, along with members of the Atlantic County Office of Emergency Management and the Atlantic City Police Department held flight exercises on Oct.10, at Atlantic City’s beach off the Boardwalk at Mississippi Avenue.
