Windows shot out of Miss. firefighters’ cars

Police said it appears the shots were fired with a pellet gun; there’s no suspect yet

BILOXI, Miss. — Firefighters who were ringing bells at a local Wal-Mart for the holidays returned to find their vehicles at the fire station vandalized.

WLOX reported that someone went into the Biloxi (Miss.) fire station Saturday afternoon and shot out the windows of multiple vehicles.

Firefighters left the store around 1 p.m. to file a report. Police said it appears the shots were fired with a pellet gun.

The station isn’t equipped with cameras. No suspect information is available at this time.

Some firefighters said that their insurance will not cover the cost of repairs and hope neighbors in the area will come forward with information.
