OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. — Three South Carolina bear cubs were found abandoned in a box. A firefighter in Oconee County said he saw the box on the side of the road last week.
He says he stopped, thinking someone had abandoned some puppies.
He took the cubs to his fire station and called the department of natural resources. First, he showed them to his daughters.
