Firefighters are known for saving the lives of many, including canines. Over Labor Day weekend, two fire departments in Colorado and Florida made sure two dogs were safely removed from potentially fatal situations.
1. Colo. firefighters save dog from water meter pit
The Denver Fire Department rescued a dog from a water meter pit Monday, after it had been trapped there for around two hours. FOX 31 reported the dog fell in when owners removed the lid of the pit to clean it out. After firefighters responded to the scene, the dog was safely removed a half hour later.
