CHICAGO — Chicago police have released security footage showing three suspects in the shooting that wounded a firefighter’s 12-year-old son on Friday.
Police say the boy was struck in the leg by gunfire when three shooters opened fire at a park Friday night, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. The child was transported to the hospital and is in fair condition.
A surveillance camera captured the shooting and shows three people firing into the park; one suspect is wearing a white T-shirt and dark pants, one is wearing all dark clothing and one is wearing a light-colored T-shirt.
The suspects, who are currently unidentified, are wanted on charges of aggravated battery with a handgun. Police request that anyone who recognizes the people in the video or has any information about the shooting contact Chicago Area One detectives or submit an anonymous tip at www.CPDTIP.com.
